Frenum - Next.. Spain!

Next in the list of special situations will be 15 days of spain.. I dont think it ll pose a problem, but as long as its not 2 months old, Im still paying attention especially to out of the normal situations!! (like a foreign land, foreign water, swimming in the sea, ..) I'll post any problems when I get back :)

I had a revelation some days ago.. In the morning I'm still not able to move the ring without the soap as lubricant.. This means that altough I have no soreness at all, my piercing is not yet fully healed! (Or at least thats what I get from it) Im very able to play with it or masturbate, so the healing seems to go ok..

Still happy I got it :D

Dreadlocks

Some people consider dreadlocks a body mod..
This is actually something I dont know what to think about.. I have dreadies so I added it to my mod list but.. I still dunno..

The question here is what is a body mod.. Body Modification.. A change to someone s body.. Strictly, this means that surgery, medicins, .. are accepted forms of crucial body mods. Plastic Surgery is indeed a socially accepted body mod.
But how about cutting hair.. Pubic hair, Beards, the normal head hear.. Cutting it is changing it, modifying it.. most of the hair cutting is socially accepted.. so is the dying. However not all the hair posibilities are as socially accepted, mohawks for an instance.. Male pubic shaving.. Dreadlocks!

When I try to find out what a body mod meant to me in the past.. I discover that I usually consider it to be the mods that arent even partly socially accepted, namely piercing, tattooing, extremer mods, .. And I dont really like that defenition. I really dont

So what am I getting to..
I didnt consider the above body mods, but in a way, I was using a narrow minded defenition of body mods. One that means that body mods are always socially wrong.
I would like all sorts of body mods (certainly dreadies so I dont have to cut them to get a job :/) to be socially accepted! So this is a very wrong definition by my book.. So I'll have to change my definition of body mods :)

Another posibility would be to look at permanence.. hair grows back without traces of being cut or dreaded.. on the other hand, so does tissue.. but not without scarring, you can barely take a piercing out & expect it not to leave even some minor scar.. If I shave my head, noone will see I had dreadlocks.. But in a way, this feels like a wrong defenition too..

So in the end.. I guess I'll stick with the litteral and very broad defenition.. "A change to ones body" Wich includes hair..

... End of April I got my hair (nice long blonde hair) locked by some friends over a bbq.. It took a while, It hurt, It took a LOT of aftercare (Piercings really dont come close to the first month with dreadies..) But in the end it turned out ok.. I only sporacicly need to check them up for growing together & the roots are locking nicely :) I love my locks :) I love the way they change & stuff.. They re great!
I'll probably have a piercing ring trough one of them soon :) hehe

The festival was great too :)

Now to the relevant part.. The cleaning was no problem, I went to the water place twice a day except when it was crowded, then I just waited a bit.. Worked fine.
Only 3 moments worth mentioning.. Not really worth but..

1. At one moment there was this guy who tought I was peeing into the sink and made a remark about him brushing his teeth there in the morning. I responded I was washing my dick and he switched to understanding.. He probably tought that i was going to have sex with a girl and was being considerate by washing up (wich I would indeed do but thats not really what this is about ;))
2. There was one moment when I chose to wash up next to the tents instead of at the sinks, because of the many people around at that time.. No biggie, I cleaned, thats important
3. Ther was one VERY painfull moment.. I had somewhat of an erection (it was morning..) and was sitting in a chair..As I switched the way I sat, I flexed a muscle, pushing my dick down in the process (hard) thus pressing my piercing against my pants.. hard.. VERY hard :/ Painfull tough interesting - Pain and pleasure can be very alike :s I already knew this, but still.. Its wierd to admit :/

End of the line..
After two festivals and no piercing problems.. I can conclude that a fresh frenum piercing (yeah I know, its an easy one) combined with festivals (3 to 4 days of not washing at all) gives no troubles.. Yay (given one does continue aftercare ofcourse!!!!)
